Q. Do I need a permit to fill my pool?
A. Yes, most cities require a demolition permit to fill a pool. Using the inspection process the city is looking basically for three things: 1) That the appropriate fees are paid, 2) that electrical and plumbing utilities have been disconnected properly from the pool, and 3) that proper sized drainage holes have been placed in the bottom of the pool.
Q. How long does the process of filling a pool take?
A. Generally speaking a swimming pool fill can be completed relatively quickly. In most cases the demo and fill process will take up to 40 hours depending on a several different factors. These factors include the availability of dirt, weather conditions, and how soon the city inspector can come to sign it off.
Q. How many years of experience do you have in filling pools and how many pool demolitions have you done?
A. We opened our doors in 1985 and since 1990 All Bay Pool Removal has been going full steam ahead. We have served thousands of customers over the past 25 years and have more than 300 successful pool demolitions behind us.
Q. Is the dirt you are going to be using for the backfill of my pool clean? Where does it come from?
A. We only import fresh clean soil from new excavations.
Q. Are you a licensed contractor?
A. Yes, All Bay Pool Removal is fully licensed to operate under California jurisdiction. We are insured and bonded for your protection as well as ours.
Q. What kind of price range am I looking at to fill my pool?
A. There are many factors involved in pricing a pool demolition and fill. Either way, we have excellent rates and are committed to providing affordable prices for our customers.
